now I found out something.....I'm going to have a platform view in the game, but going to use 3D sprites hopefully its going to look greate

? What do you mean, 3d sprites? You mean isometric sprites but a platform view?

no no, the sprites are actually 3D, made in a software called anim8or. then I put them in as usual sprites in the game maker, then they will look like they are in 3D, thought when it comes into game maker it wont be 3D any more....

That's called pre-rendering sprites. Ancient ants adventure and Granny and the snowmen use that. Good luck using 3d, I would recommend blender, but it's hard stuff.

I have used blnder before, its to hard for me, but it works if u know how xD but I use this "anim8or" its prittey good and the tutorials on theirs site is really good and easy to follow. And this dude on the GMC had made this really good 3D sprites, and he told me that he use "anim8or" so I'l give it a shot

Easier? Cool, I'll even check that out then. I have no need to prerender sprites but I like playing around with stuff like that.
